About Reid Write Consulting

Reid Write Consulting (an LGBT-owned, woman-owned business) was created to fill both a need and a passion – providing support services for small businesses and non-profit organizations. Growth in both of these sectors means that every organization needs to get and stay focused on income generation, which can be challenging with a small staff and lots to do every day. Reid Write Consulting’s primary goal is to help you find your way through the process of finding and responding to RFPs and grants, and all associated tasks and processes associated with these income-building opportunities. Our secondary goal is to help your organization put to paper all the information needed to carry out your day-to-day tasks to make your job clearer, easier, and more efficient.

Experience

Leslie Reid (they/she), Reid Write Consulting owner and founder, has spent a 25+ year career helping corporations grow. With experience as an Executive Assistant, in Human Resources, and events, Leslie has done a little bit of a lot of different things. For the past 20 years, Leslie worked as a bid and proposal manager at leading telecommunications and services companies in Canada and the US, and has lead successful teams to win a variety of RFPs, VORs, and unsolicited proposals. Leslie’s passion is to take that experience and help small businesses and non-profits grow.

Leslie is an APMP-certified Proposal Practitioner. As part of this certification, they are required to maintain CEUs annually, and you get to reap the benefits.

Fee Structures

Hourly Rates

We bill only for the work we do. While some consultants will quote a set price, we do our best to keep costs low to ensure you can get the support you need. Using a standard hourly rate, RWC bills in 15-minute increments and will provide an estimated number of hours for project completion based on our initial consultation.

Retainer Option

If you aren’t yet sure what you need or expect to have multiple small requirements (like needing help deciding whether to bid on something or not), a retainer for on-the-go advice and insights may be the right option. Still billed in 15 minute increments, regular reports will keep you updated.
